Sleeping with Jackie Chan
Sorry to break it to you Randy, but I've been sleeping with Jackie Chan. Well at least, our son does an extremely good imitation of Jackie Chan. Yes, Baby C and I co-sleep. Say what you want about co-sleeping but for some babies, it's the only way they'll fall asleep and stay asleep. The only problem with Baby C is that he becomes some sort of ninja baby during the night. He flails his arms and legs and grunts and kicks with some serious gusto...all while asleep (and swaddled)! No matter how tightly he's swaddled, shortly after dozing off I awaken to this physical bombardment. Each time I've carefully attempted to roll to the other side of our king-sized mattress, his eyelids pop open and suddenly he's awake. So back over I roll to nurse him in our tiny little corner of the mattress and the cycle continues...
