Hi Ho! It's off to the Pumpkin Patch we go!

This weekend was the annual festival at the pumpkin patch / fruit farm. Daddy treated us all to breakfast at a restaurant!

It was early. We were tired.
Then we took the short drive to the farm and hopped on the hayride:

Hayrides are fun, even for the "big" kids.

The hayride goes past the orchard, hence the hungry look in their eyes.
We searched for the perfect pumpkin:

After 20 minutes of searching, we ended up going back to almost the first pumpkin we saw!

It was a muddy field. Both boys fell down too.
And found one!

Daddy was proud.

C was miserable. Who knew mud was so offensive to a two year old?
Then we picked our apples:

We didn't even have illicit sampling this year. Pretty impressive for C.

Teamwork

It's often advantageous to have a Daddy that's nearly 6 foot 3.
And headed home to quickly change our muddy shoes and head to Bible study. Top off the day with homemade bbq, kale chips, and sweet potatoes, and you have a pretty perfect day!
