Swimming, Gardening, and Festivaling

While I still dream of lazy summer days, the reality is that summer has not been "lazy" since perhaps grade school.

G and S are in swimming lessons for a few weeks; we want them to be able to enjoy their summer fun safely. It's a lot of work to fit lessons into our day, but it's worth it.

We've been tending to our flourishing garden and the kids are devouring every snap/snow pea they can get their hands on.
He is a snow-pea bandit; you have to keep two eyes on this kid. I also caught him stealthily stealing cucumbers this evening.
G lost a front tooth! This is a very big deal, as the first baby teeth she lost had to be pulled out at the dentist. Having a tooth come out on its own was super exciting.

We attended a festival and the kids got to ride a train, pet animals, eat kettle corn, and watch bicycle stunts. It was hot and very sunny, but they definitely enjoyed it.
