December Adventures

We had a blessed and busy December!

We celebrated lots of birthdays (including mine) and traveled to Virginia to see lots of family for Christmas. It was wonderful to see everyone. The kids were exceptionally blessed with so many generous and thoughtful Christmas presents and have spent so much time already fully enjoying them!

We celebrated C's "half" birthday at preschool

N mastered clapping, pulling up, and even stood for a few microseconds. Plus, she turned 9 months old at the very end of the month (craziness!)

We made and decorated sugar cookies with lots of frosting and candy and marshmallows (Note to self: Make January dental appointments)

The kids were in the church Christmas musical (And subsequently, I finally got a break from hearing the same songs over and over again. At least, that is, until they got Frozen for Christmas.)

Baby N was teething all month, poor thing
N got to explore Nana and Grandpa's kitchen
N spent some quality snuggle time with Grandma at Uncle C's and Aunt Jeni's house on Christmas Eve

The kids got so many presents! C got a ton of Car stuff, puzzles, and Spiderman. And yes, he was just as happy as this picture shows.
S's pile! His Christmas was full of football, remote controlled things, board games, coloring books, etc. What a happy boy!
To her delight, most of these were animal books! Or animals. Either way, she's good. :)

N was a fan of unwrapping all the presents at her Aunt Re's
N and her great-aunt. We miss her so much!

Now, we're battling fevers and such, but we're so glad that all of that waited until after our special Christmas family time. :)
