Make Way for Fall!

As we head into the last few weeks of summer, our activities are gearing up in their usual frantic attempt to extract every last bit of flavor left in August. Randy took S out for his first back-to-school "Daddy/Son" day. S decided to get frozen yogurt and pick out two matchbox cars. Simple, cheap, and a fun way to start off the kindergarten year!

We went to the park one morning...notice the sweaters! It's downright chilly some mornings now. Like 48 degrees. Yes, I agree that is insane for August.

We had another Chik-fil-a adventure. C is a ham for the camera.

We visited a local arboretum. Daddy was tickling N in an attempt to hear one of those delicious baby belly laughs. She didn't humor him this time.

More wading at the arboretum.

Playing an animal adventure game.

Watching coi pond fish.
We cleared out some areas of the garden that were past their prime and are making way for an end of season planting of some turnips, kale, etc. Autumn is clearly approaching quickly!
