She took her birthday money from her great-aunt to Target and carefully selected two, tiny baby dolls. I added in a mini stroller and she has spent her days tenderly feeding and strolling her babies, and occasionally not-so-tenderly piling them into a bucket and toting them around like Easter eggs.

We love life with our N. She's friendly, yet fierce. Independent, yet affectionate. She's often a hot mess, and just as often merrily singing herself a tune.
And while for now, she's entered that stage when her go-to response to almost every question is automatically "No!", we're savoring the occasionally "Yes, puh-lease" and "Tank oo" knowing that before long, the stubborn toddler years will pass and we'll miss the entusiastic laughter and natural wonderment of this age.
