Birthday Week - Part 2!

G spent the week before her birthday as the "star student" at school. So, she basically had at least one opportunity every day to be the center of attention in class and she loved every second. It was also "Read Across America!" week so every day had a theme like "crazy hair" or "pajama day." Her school week ended with her Daddy joining her for lunch at school and bringing in frosted cookies for her classmates. It's a wonder if she learned anything during a week like that!

We finished celebrating on her actual birthday Saturday, with presents from us and cupcakes and an outing to spend her birthday money. All in all, she had an awesome 7th birthday.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, packages, cards, and love. You made her day, well week! :)

Spending her birthday money on something she's wanted for a while; which was something I was kind of hoping to avoid! 

One of her other purchases...a reusable sticker doll house book! This girl has never met an art or craft project she didn't like. :)
