The Thaw

And finally we begin to thaw! However temporary the warmer weather may be, we still took advantage of the renewed ability to spend time outdoors, at the park, and at a local farm. Of course the farm had no fresh produce, but they always have homemade cookies, chocolate milk, and superb applesauce and honey.

Spring may still be a ways off in this town, but we made sure to gulp the first taste of it.

*Confession: Randy and the kids gulped the first taste of spring; I took whatever few dainty sips being 38.5 weeks pregnant would allow. Basically, I sat near opened windows and savored the sunshine as I walked from the front door to the car. I also ate cookies.
