Baby C's tooth is here!!!
However, it is being closely followed by another. :(
S took a nap today!!!
Then he stayed up a little later than usual this evening. (G was ticked off that she had to go to bed first. That's what happens when you don't take a nap too, G!) It was nice to spend some one on one time with S. We snuggled on the couch and looked at his baby pictures. ("It's me and G!") Then he helped me with the laundry. ("This is very cool, Mama!")
There is something absolutely wonderful about focusing on just one child for even just a half hour. S didn't really understand why he was getting this privilege, but he totally understood how "cool" it was.
Randy had a Saturday night off!!!
Randy rarely gets a weekend off, so we made a huge home cooked dinner, put the kids to bed, opened a bottle of wine, turned on one of our favorite travel/food shows, and played Scrabble. I do realize that our evening may only sound exciting to other couples that experience the chaos that is shift work, but to us it was perfect and very much needed.
I completed G's paperwork for Kindergarten registration!!!
We have to sign her up in a week and a half. It's hard to believe we're at this point already. I'm simultaneously super excited and nostalgic. G is going to love school, but we are going to miss G.
