We got our first big snow here in central PA this weekend. The flakes started falling early Saturday morning and kept on coming into the evening. Needless to say, I spent most of the day inside avoiding that extremely wet, cold stuff. (I'll go out in the snow in another month or so, when the dry flakes start falling.) I made myself busy in the kitchen concocting a pumpkin BBQ (very good, by the way) and baking Swedish rolls (for dinners during the week), kale chips, and corn bread.

| Me - Domestic Champion of the Day! |
How did I manage all this domesticity while keeping an eye on three kids? Simple, Baby C napped from 10:45 until 1:30 and G and S left a path of destruction from one end of the apartment to the other that we all had to clean up this evening.
When Randy returned from taking G to swimming lessons, he made sure to take Baby C outside to enjoy his first snowfall.

Baby C was absolutely thrilled. After the snow fun, Randy and I "watched" the Hokies play football. I say "watched" because with three kids running around, it's more like catching a play here and a play there. S came over to see the game and ending up loving on his baby brother. Seeing as S had a very trying day, it was nice to see the sweet side of him.

By bedtime the kids were quite stir-crazy so I'm hoping that the snow clears off all the roads tonight so that we can get them out of the house for church and trick-or-treating at the library tomorrow!
